Race for Every Child

10th Anniversary Edition

Going the Distance for Kids

More than 3,500 people joined us Oct. 15 at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C., and virtually for the Race for Every Child: 10th Anniversary Edition. The annual event unites our community to raise funds for world-class care and groundbreaking research at Children’s National.

The 5K run/walk and Kids Dash raised $1.5 million to support follow the leader, the hospital’s comprehensive campaign to improve children’s health and well-being.

"We race for my daughter Anniyah, who has two rare medical conditions and sees numerous specialists at Children's National. We are so grateful for the compassionate and collaborative care she receives."
